How many projects should we show?
Fewer, explained properly, beats a large grid of thumbnails. Eight to twelve well-documented case studies covering your range is usually more persuasive than fifty images with captions.
Will a heavy, image-led site still be fast?
It can be, but only if performance is designed in. Modern image formats, correct responsive sizing and lazy loading do most of the work; the mistake is uploading full-resolution files and hoping a plugin sorts it out.
Can we add new projects ourselves?
Yes. Case studies are built as a defined content type with set fields, so publishing a new one means filling in the fields rather than laying out a page from scratch.
