HARDWARE SOLUTIONS

Business hardware solutions, deployed and integrated

Reliable business hardware tailored to real-world operations — from device selection and deployment through to configuration, integration with your existing software, and ongoing support.

Hardware that talks to the systems you already run

A scanner that will not sync, a POS terminal that keeps dropping its connection, or tracking data that never reaches the order system — hardware problems rarely stay hardware problems. They surface downstream as missed deliveries, manual corrections and stock figures nobody trusts.

BLAC-M specifies devices against the job and the environment rather than the spec sheet, handles configuration and rollout, and connects the hardware into your existing software so scans, receipts and tracking data land where they are supposed to. The software side and the hardware side are handled by the same team, which removes the usual finger-pointing when something does not work.

What we deploy

Three areas covering the hardware most operational businesses depend on day to day.

Barcode scanning, RFID and rugged mobile devices for warehouse, field and retail teams working away from a desk.

Point-of-sale terminals, receipt and label printing configured around how your sales and fulfilment process runs.

Asset tracking and connected sensors feeding live operational data back into the systems your team already uses.

HOW WE WORK

How a hardware rollout runs

1Requirements and site reviewWe look at the environment the hardware has to survive and the workflow it has to fit — temperature, drop risk, connectivity and who is actually holding the device.

2SpecificationDevices selected on durability, connectivity and total cost across the deployment life, not just the unit price at purchase.

3Deployment and integrationConfiguration, staged rollout and connection into your existing software and networks, tested against live processes before wider release.

4Support and lifecycleOngoing maintenance, replacement handling and expansion as the estate grows, so the deployment does not degrade over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you supply the hardware or just advise on it?

We advise on specification, handle configuration and deployment, and integrate the devices with your software. Procurement can be arranged or handled by you directly — whichever gives you the better commercial position.

Will new hardware work with our current software?

Making that work is the main part of the job. We check integration requirements before anything is specified, because a device that cannot talk to your order or stock system is an expensive paperweight regardless of its own capabilities.

Can you work with hardware we already own?

Yes. Where existing devices are serviceable, reconfiguring and integrating them properly is usually cheaper than replacement. We will tell you when equipment genuinely has reached the end of its useful life.

What happens when a device fails?

That falls under Technical Support, which covers both remote diagnosis and on-site attendance where the problem is physical. Replacement and spares handling can be agreed as part of that cover.

Hardware not talking to your systems?

Tell us what the devices are meant to do and where the process breaks down. We will work out whether it is the hardware, the integration, or the workflow.
