Web design in Muscat, without the lock-in.

Oman is a market where relationships last, and so should the website. We build on technology any competent developer can pick up, so you are never dependent on one supplier staying in business.

What web design Muscat projects usually involve.

These are the sectors that actually drive Muscat. The work looks different in each one, which is why we do not quote from a template.

Ports, shipping and logistics

Service and coverage sites with the practical detail an operations team is actually looking for.

Tourism and hospitality

Bilingual sites for hotels, tour operators and destinations, built for seasonal peaks.

Fisheries and agriculture

Product, certification and export capability sites for producers selling into regional and international buyers.

Professional services

Consultancies and advisory firms whose website has to establish credibility before a first meeting.

Government suppliers

Capability and compliance sites for firms working with public bodies.

Retail and SME

Straightforward, fast sites for businesses that need to be found and contacted.

Where Muscat projects usually start.

Almost nobody arrives asking for a website. They arrive with one of these, and the website turns out to be part of the answer.

A proprietary platform with rising costs. The site works but the licence renews annually and the price only moves one way.

A supplier who has gone quiet. Not hostile, just unavailable, and the site needs a change this month.

An export audience the site does not address. International buyers want certification and specification detail that the current site does not carry.

The maths Muscat businesses are doing.

Vendor lock-in is the quiet cost in this market. A site built on a proprietary platform is fine until the supplier raises prices, changes direction or disappears, and then you are rebuilding from nothing.

Everything we build runs on mainstream, documented technology, hosted in your name. If you ever want to move, another supplier can take it on without starting again. That is not generosity, it is just what a fair arrangement looks like.

How a project here actually runs.

The practical detail, so you know what you are agreeing to before anyone quotes.

What sets the timeline. Content and photography. Tourism and hospitality work in particular lives or dies on images, and sourcing them takes longer than expected.

What to have ready. Image assets at full resolution, certification details if you export, and who signs off.

What we push back on. Proprietary platforms. If a supplier is proposing something only they can maintain, ask what happens when they are unavailable.

What happens after launch. Everything in your name on mainstream technology, so another developer could take it on without a rebuild.

Web design Muscat — questions answered.

What technology do you build on?

Mainstream and well documented: WordPress where a content site is the right answer, conventional frameworks where custom development is genuinely needed. Nothing proprietary, nothing that only we can maintain.

Do you work in Arabic and English?

Yes, with the bilingual structure planned at the start rather than added later.

Are you based in Oman?

No. BLAC-M is registered in Dubai and delivers remotely across the GCC, on the same working week. We say that plainly rather than implying a local presence.

Can you take over a site somebody else built?

Often yes. We start by auditing what it runs on and confirming you control the domain and hosting. That tells you whether taking it over or rebuilding is the sensible path.

What if we want to move to another developer later?

Then you can. That is the point of building on conventional technology with everything registered to you. We would rather earn the next project than rely on you being stuck.

Can you work with our existing hosting?

Usually. We will check it can run the site properly and tell you honestly if it cannot, but we have no interest in moving you for the sake of it.
